Colonel Dave Culbertson (USAF, Retired) is a 1979 ROTC Distinguished Graduate from Trinity University in San Antonio, TX. He’s a Command Pilot with over 7500 hours in 18 different Air Force and civilian aircraft, including 4000 as a First Officer for a major air carrier. Dave is a graduate of the Air Force Fighter Weapons School and a Distinguished Graduate from both the F-16 and A-10 flying training programs. As an F-16 and A-10 pilot, he served in a variety of leadership and flight examiner roles. Dave has extensive operational test experience in the F-16, including air-to-air and air-to-ground missiles, night vision goggles, and advanced targeting pods. He commanded the Air Force Reserve’s first Predator UAV Squadron – he flew the Predator in support of operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom.
