Our Vice President of Aeronautics and resident outreach coordinator, John Norton, met with students in Englewood, Colorado to talk airplanes!

Students learned all about the four fundamental forces of flight and then had the opportunity to apply what they learned by building their own balsa wood gliders. They worked hard to perfect the launch, measured and calculated the glide ratio, and determined who had the longest flight. We are always inspired by our time with young aviation enthusiasts and can’t wait to see what these bright students accomplish.
