PAI and Falcon AeroLab, October 2019

October 25, 2019 By Jennifer Ellsworth

John was thrilled to be back at Falcon AeroLab Charter School teaching 6th and 7th graders basic aeronautics. After some time in the classroom the group headed to the gym to perfect their launching technique and calculate glide ratio. John not only teaches kids in the classroom but also in the air – students can apply these concepts in actual gliders in the school’s 8th grade Glider Program. The future of Aerospace is in great hands with these bright students! To find out more about the Falcon AeroLab Charter School, the unique curriculum, and how they prepare Colorado students for Colorado jobs, head to their website: https://www.falconaerolab.org/

Why Take A Course with Practical Aero?

More than ever, today’s aircraft are complex systems requiring skilled professionals to combine their specific expertise into a fully integrated vehicle. The professionals who engineer, test, manufacture, and in any way support these aircraft are accomplished specialists, but often lack an overall understanding of the airplane system as a whole. Fundamental understanding of the airplane-engine system gives you improved ability to communicate more effectively and frame thinking beyond your area of expertise.
