Associate: Dr. Link Jaw
Dr. Link Jaw specializes in control and monitoring systems design and analysis. He was the founder and CEO of Scientific Monitoring, Inc., which provided remote diagnostics and predictive monitoring software iTrend for gas turbine engines and aircraft systems. He became an Intel Fellow in 2012 through acquisition, and was the Chief Analytics Architect of the Internet of Things (IOT) Group until his retirement in October 2014, where he worked to enhance edge-to-cloud compute solutions with an emphasis on distributed intelligence and cross-industry scalability. His other work experience includes Honeywell and FlightSafety Simulation Systems. He holds 11 U. S. patents. He is the primary author of the book on “Aircraft Engine Controls: Design, System Analysis, and Health Monitoring,” published by AIAA Education Series in August 2009. He holds a Ph. D. degree in Aeronautics & Astronautics from Stanford University and an M. S. degree from the University of Michigan. He also completed EMBA short courses at Dartmouth College’s Tuck School of Business Administration.
