John Norton recently worked with 6th and 7th grade students at Falcon AeroLab Charter School in Colorado Springs. They discussed fundamental principles of aeronautics and students applied these concepts in their design and flight of balsa wood gliders. It is always fun to see whose glider design makes it the farthest!

John demonstrates pitch which is an up or down movement of the nose of the aircraft.
